Many analytical calibration tasks are performed in a laboratory. However, gas monitoring and gas detection systems are often also deployed at the point of emission and in the field. Application examples include the need to measure real driving emissions (RDE) in the automotive and non-road mobile machinery (NRMM) sector. The need for mobile testing equipment is also being driven by tighter process controls in industries such as petrochemicals. Typical on-site applications include functional tests and calibration of safety detectors and sensors in factories, mines and confined spaces. Continuous emission monitoring systems (CEMS) are also often mandatory in manufacturing facilities and in power plants that emit regulated pollutants like sulfur oxides and nitrogen oxides.
All of these non-stationary applications call for test gases in small, portable, easy-to-use cylinders for regular calibration and instrumentation tasks.
GENIE® – High-capacity, lightweight package
Our GENIE cylinder is a breakthrough innovation in the world of HiQ® gases. Featuring a built-in digital display for real-time content indication and alarms, the GENIE cylinder is ideal for welding tasks in laboratories, cleanrooms or research and development facilities. It is lightweight, mobile and easy to operate. A wide range of HiQ specialty gases are available in GENIE cylinders. The GENIE range also includes bespoke HiQ REDLINE single- and two-stage regulators for use with GENIE cylinders.
ECOCYL® – Award-winning innovation
ECOCYL is a family of refillable, high pressure and high volume packages for specialty gases and research-grade chemical gases working at filling pressures of up to 200 bar. All ECOCYL models are equipped with an integrated valve and flow regulation device. This all-in-one design enhances portability and convenience for remote calibration tasks, while also improving general handling and safety as the flow regulator is fully integrated in a special protective cowling.
HiQ MAXICAN / MINICAN –Small, environmentally-sustainable cylinders for the ultimate in flexibility
For applications that call for greater portability, our HiQ MAXICAN and MINICAN products are the solutions of choice. These cylinders are ultra-lightweight and extremely easy to use. As the name suggests, the HiQ MAXICAN is larger than our MINICAN model, operating at 69 bar and 12 bar respectively. Both cans are ideal for calibration gas mixtures, especially for testing gas detectors.
HiQ MICROCAN – Disposable goes micro
The HiQ MICROCAN is a miniaturized version of our MAXICAN and MINICAN products. Operating at 200 bar, it is a high-pressure package of truly micro proportions, thus packing more gas into a smaller, disposable cylinder. HiQ MICROCAN is suitable for carrier gases such as helium and nitrogen. Its ultra-lightweight and compact design make it the ideal portable solution for remote field applications.
HiQ PLASTIGAS – Why carry a lot if you only need a little?
PLASTIGAS is the perfect match for one-off calibration tasks. In simple terms, it is a plastic bag that can be filled with the relevant calibration gas mixture or sample for analysis. It is a low-pressure, low-volume solution for technicians who like to travel light. The HiQ PLASTIGAS container is also ideal for collecting samples in the field and bringing them back to the laboratory for testing and analysis.
