ISO 5145 is the ISO standard which is based on the NEVOC principle and superseded the NEVOC system recently.
Within ISO 5145 it has been agreed to use, in case of the need for new outlets, ones corresponding to ISO 5145. For example, if a 200 bar outlet is used for two different groups of gases, e.g. the same outlet for oxygen (oxidising) and nitrogen (asphyxiating), and if this country decides to differentiate oxidising gases from asphyxiating gases, the corresponding oxidising and asphyxiating types as defined in ISO 5145 should be used. Another example concerns new applications such as 300 bar outlets; the corresponding 300 bar outlet of the ISO 5145 shall be used.
