LFL (Lower flammable limit)
LFL refers to Lower Flammable Limit. It is the lower end of the concentration range of a flammable gas, normally expressed in percentage by volume in air, which can ignite with air at normal temperature and pressure. Below LFL, the vapour/air mixture will not ignite. LFL is equivalent to LEL, i.e. Lower Explosive Limit.
