Exposure limit

Concentrations of substances (and conditions) under which it is believed that nearly all workers may be repeatedly exposed day after day without adverse health effects. ACGIH (American Conference of Industrial Hygienists) limits are called TLV (Threshold Limit Value) and OSHA ( US Occupational Safety and Health Administration) exposure limits are called PEL (Permissible Exposure Limit).
